Beaver Island Music Festival

What’s NEW for the 2008 Festival?

LODGING: At the Beaver Island Music Festival, we have camping facilities available during the festival.

NEW: We will be offering camping starting on Wednesday July 16th thru Sunday July 20th at an advance cost of $10. Campers who wish to camp quietly or with small children will be able to camp in a separate designated area out front, we will be closely monitoring this area.

The campsite is located a very short distance from the main event grounds. We offer a rustic camping environment with restrooms, drinking water, and a hand washing station. Food venders will be on site Friday thru Sunday. There is no electric or phone service on sight. Refer to Facility Information for more details about our grounds. Camping passes will be available at the gate on the first day of the event at a charge of $5.00 per person. If you prefer not to camp Beaver Island offers many other alternatives for lodging. We suggest that if you choose to stay in town you make reservations as soon as possible.

CHANGES IN SHUTTLE SERVICE
BIMF NewsSHUTTLE SERVICE AND ISLAND TRAVEL: We encourage you to use the B.I.M.F. shuttle service for your transportation needs to and from the festival grounds. There will be designated pick-up and drop-off points. The main pick-up will begin on Friday with the arrival of the first scheduled boat. We will offer this service every two hours until 10pm Friday and Saturday, (Saturday starting at 9am), and Sunday from 7am to last departing boat. Because of the rising gas prices the charge for this service will be $2.00 per person each way including pick-ups at arrival from boat dock. We are now offering a $5 shuttle band which will be good for unlimited trips throughout the festival weekend. Shuttle band can be purchased at your arrival to Beaver Island or see pay-pal for advance purchase of shuttle band. We may add more trips depending on needs. All shuttle information will be posted at the boat dock and airport also at the gate for your convenience. If you choose not to use this service, Beaver Island does offer other alternatives, bikes, vehicles, and taxi services. Once again, please reserve early.

SPECIAL NOTE: Please take time to visit other Beaver Island web sites and the Chamber of Commerce to learn more about our island and the many things to see and do while you visit. Plan some time or an extra day to visit our local businesses and restaurants, historical sites, check out the natural environment (beaches, walking trails, etc.), and to enjoy the life of Beaver Island.
